Individual Therapy

I love working individually with school-aged children & adolescents who have a hard time getting along with family members, teachers, or even peers. Sometimes, youths wrestle with anxiety and depression but don't have ways to express their thoughts and feelings constructively. This can be manifested through many behaviors such as defiant words and actions, simply "shutting down," or refusing to do homework or attend school. I work with children to help them identify and label their thoughts and feelings, express them constructively, and develop strategies with them to address negative thoughts & feelings in their daily lives.

I also enjoy working with adults on a variety of issues, such as Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and other forms of anxiety, depression, adjustment to life changes, and others.
